The match against Beijing Sport University once again proved that Tatran Presov have more success in the guest appearances. This time, Slovakian gem were better than the newcomers from China 36:19 (21:8).
From the very beginning of the match, Slavko Goluza's squad showed that they have serious intentions to win points in Dom sportova 2. They opened the match amazingly and after only 6 minutes on the court, the guest team had 4 goals advantage.
As the time went by, Tatran Presov's advantage was only getting bigger. When they were 7 goals up, home team coach had to ask for a time-out.
After that, Beijing Sport University scored some nice goals and put up a good defense, but it was not enough to reduce Tatran's huge advantage. With the half-time result being 21:8 for the guest team, it was clear who will secure points in the end. The second half was just a routine job for Tatran where they were holding onto their advantage.
The best scorers in the winning team were Roman Tsarapkin with 7 goals and Javier Munoz Cabezon with 5 goals. On the other side, Yu Wang netted 6 times for the home team.
Beijing Sport University will play their next match on the 29th of October when they will meet with Vardar, while Tatran Presov will travel to Ukraine to play against Motor Zaporozhye the same day.
