Remarkable second-half performance secures NEXE an easy win

Nexe - Dinamo

In SEHA - Gazprom League's derby of the bottom NEXE Nasice celebrated a dominant 27:19 win over Dinamo to close their this season's regional campaign. This was however only second win of the season for Croatian vice-champions, first since September, which means they'll finish the season on eighth place, just one above the team from Pancevo.

Guests opened the match better being able to keep the advantage throughout the first part of the first half. Key period of the match were probably eight minutes in the second part of the first in which Dinamo went scoreless allowing Horvat and his players to turn the result in their favor and open the gap to two before the half-time whistle. Opening five minutes of the second sealed the deal with NEXE making a 4:0 series deciding the match today with guests being unable to get back into the match after falling that much behind. Perica Lelic had an extraordinary outing with 14 saves stopping remarkable 48% of shots tonight while Mario Tomic led their offense with six. Savo Savuljica netted four for Dinamo.
