Petkovic: “Draw is the most realistic outing and a prize“

Dinamo

Dinamo - Tatran Presov 26:26 (12:14)

(Pilipovic 6 / Kasal 9, Hrstka 6, Urban 5)

Slavko Goluza, Tatran Presov coach:
Hosts played a really good match today. Our schedule is that tough that we simply don’t have time for proper training sessions. We arrived here directly from Denmark. However, Dinamo deserved this point because we weren’t able to seal the deal today when we had the chance. However, I still believe we’re playing on our maximum in this tough situation.

Michal Kasal, Tatran Presov player:
This surely wasn’t our ideal outing. We lost focus in the second half and committed way too many technical mistakes.

Ivan Petkovic, Dinamo coach:
I already said we’ll play a team which has a really good coach. We saw our chances in the fact that they were tired and missed Butorac, League’s best scorer, here today. I believe draw is the most realistic outing and a prize for everything we did lately. We’re working good. Serbian Cup Final against Vojvodina is ahead of us, but I’d first like to use this opportunity to congratulate my guys on a quality, brave performance. We did commit some turnovers today but that’s a part of growing up. At last, we’re rookies in this League so…We’re moving on. I wish Tatran all the best in both SEHA League and EHF Cup.

Stefan Saponjic, Dinamo player:
I’d like to thank our fans who were once again here for us as well as my teammates who showed real fighting spirit today, especially in final ten minutes of the match. The fact that we’re missing for players is still not an alibi, we’ve got to keep up the tempo. I believe this is a great intro for what is still waiting for us this season.
