PPD Zagreb come out on top against Meshkov's second unit

PPD - MBR

PPD Zagreb have on Tuesday evening managed to reach their seventh SEHA - Gazprom League victory this season defeating Meshkov Brest 29:24 at home in Sutinska vrela sports hall. Considering the fact that Belarusians once again decided to travel to an away SEHA League match without almost any first-team players, 'Lions' struggled a bit more than it was maybe expected to book a new win and stay on top of the standings because when Yahor Budzeika levelled the match at 22:22 with a little less than ten minutes left to play it was clear that this one can go either way. However, that's when Zagreb proved their quality and experience storming away with a 7:1 series which finally sealed the deal in this one. Hosts have that way managed to secure an important victory in F4 race and Meshkov on the other hand still have a long way to go in order to secure a final tournament ticket for themselves since they now have four wins and just as much losses in opening eight rounds.

Zagreb's wingers Zlatko Horvat and David Mandic were once again in charge of leading their offense combining for 13 goals (Horvat 8, Mandic 5). Andrei Yaschanka on the other hand netted 7 for guests.
