After they got knocked out of EHF' Cup against Nantes NEXE have managed to turn their minds towards SEHA League and beat Spartak convincingly with 32:22.
Spartak have opened the match a bit better but hosts have already after first 30 minutes managed to enlarge the gap to 7 mostly due to significant bench players' role led by Barišić-Jaman and Nenadić.
Albin Eter opened the second half furiously for the team from Slavonia scoring 4 in 5 minutes and allowing Kordi' team to easily cruise towards a new victory rotating his roster and giving everyone a chance.
Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:
We've prepared for match against Spartak like we did for duels against Veszprem, Zagreb, Vardar or Nantes. After a few matches against better teams where we lost in the finish match against Spartak was very important for us. We were playing excellent defense on highest level and with that we've stopped their fast flowing strategy.
Marko Mrdjenović, NEXE's captain: My opinion is that fans could enjoy the match. Maybe we were playing worse at the beginning but after that we have played much better in defense until the end of the match. So it is good that we had serious approach until the end of the match.

NEXE have showed us how to play modern handball. They were playing excellent defense in a very quick game for us. We must learn our lessons.

We had lots of problem with NEXE's "quick ball". We were trying with 3-2-1 defense and I can say we were playing better in the first 10 or 15 minutes but after that NEXE controlled the game until the end.
