Handball festival in Našice scheduled for Sunday, 17.00 CET

Praznik rukometa u Našicama u nedjelju u pet

Zrnić

NEXE will on Sunday, 17.00 CET in King Tomislav' sports hall host SEHA Gazprom League's reigning champions Veszprem. Match will be broadcasted live on Arena sport 1 and Digi TV. However, atmosphere will surely be better in the sports hall with Hungarian champions being a real crowd magnet.

Sure thing is also that fans will especially look forward to see Veszprem's Croats: Renato Sulić, Mirko Alilović and Ivan Slišković, their last reinforcement who used to wear NEXE's jersey a few years ago. Interesting is also that Hungarians are coming to Slavonia only a day after their clash against PPD Zagreb in Croatian capital making it a mini Croatian tour for them.

Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:
Veszprem is one of the best handball teams in Europe. My opinion is that they are the best team which has ever visited Našice, in any sports. It will be a big handball festival not only in Našice but also for whole Slavonia region. My wish is to move and make progress in each match, so I hope that we will present some new good  things in this match. We will try to make the match as tough as possible for our guests.

Luka Sokolić, NEXE's player:
I can't find words to describe Veszprem. Team with a lot of stars. It will be a real spectacle, On court as well as in the stands. Excellent match to play and to watch. We will enjoy and see where we are now comparing to one of Europe's best teams.

Xavi Sabaté, Veszprém's coach:
NEXE plays very well this season, they've surely made a certain step forward. They've got very good results and I am sure it will be a very difficult match there. We will play two games in less than 24 hours afte a very hard match in Zagreb for sure.

Gašper Marguč, Veszprem's player:
Of course it will not be an easy game against NEXE because we will play against Zagreb a day before it. Two games in a row are always difficult. Two games within two days will be tough for us. It requires a lot od energy and I hope we'll all manage to play well and rotate in order to be prepared as good as possible for both matches.
