Vojvodina's match versus NEXE našice will on Sunday (18.00 CET) open SEHA Gazprom season in 'Slana bara' sports hall in Novi Sad. Clashes between Serbian champion and Croatian vice-champions are always intensive, very interesting and an unforgetable experience for both side's fans.

Hosts are looking for the first victory in the new season after Macedonian experience in Strumica (25:25) and Skopje (defeat against Vardar 27:37). Zdenko Kordi's players would surely, on the other side, like to repeat perfomance from first 50 minutes in Zagreb where they have almost managed to make a big surprise and reach points against PPD Zagreb (27:25 in the end).

Nikola Marković, Vojvodina's coach:

- We have a responsibility and obligation to beat NEXE. I expect a big support, we're playing in front of our fans. We are at the beginning of the season and our form isn't still on necessary level, but fighting spirit must always be at the highest level. NEXE is a good team which has been part of the League from its beginning and I'm sure it will be a tough match.

Danimir Ćurković, Vojvodina's captain:
- NEXE are a good team. We know each other for a long time now and in my opinion it will be a match of two rivals on similar level. Our advantage is home court and I invite fans to come. This is a good preparation for Champions League. We're all on the same task, we have the same goal and that is victory.

Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:
- Vojvodina experienced some changes. They have a new coach so it will be something new for us because we don't know a lot about their new system. They don't have Kocić and Elezović but they have four new players among which, definitely the most famous and with the most experience is Rastvortsev. Of course it will be a hard match but with performance like the one from the first half in Zagreb, we might create a chance for us to reach a good result in Novi Sad.

Perica Lelić, NEXE's goalkeeper:
- We have played an excellent match in Zagreb in the first round and I can say we're all a bit sad about that loss in the end. However, our goal is to play a match on the same level in Novi Sad, especially in defence. Honestly, we don't know much about Vojvodina t the moment but we're sure they're a good team and that it won't be easy. Our matches are always uncertain.
