SEHA derby in EHF Champions League, Tatran looking for their first EHF EL win

Tatran Presov

New week full of excitements is ahead of of when it comes to both EHF European League and Champions League. We’ll see a lot of our teams in action as well as a big derby in Maschineseeker EHF Champions League so, without further ado, let’s get into our weekly preview!

Maschineseeker EHF Champions League

In Group A, Telekom Veszprem will welcome PPD Zagreb in what we’ll be a matchup between two teams that have met in the last two SEHA - Gazprom League Final 4 finals in Zadar. Two years ago, Telekom Veszprem came out on top after the seven-meter shootour while last September, Rasmus Lauge delivered a real attacking clinic pushing his team towards a 32:30 win and securing the SEHA Final 4 MVP title for himself. Telekom Veszprem went on to play an amazing first half of the season after the Zadar tournament and are currently first in Group A with 11 points after six rounds. PPD Zagreb are seventh with three although history tells us matches between these two teams always turn out to be real derbies. This encounter is scheduled for Thursday (18.45 CET) so make sure not to miss it!
