New points for Nexe in a re-match of the season's opener

Croatian vice-champions Nexe have secured points on their home court. With 32:24 (19:9) victory against Vojvodina in the 6th round of the SEHA - Gazprom League, they got a pay back for first round defeat in Novi Sad. This was second victory of the season for Nexe and also Vojvodina's second defeat. 

It was the best first half of the season for team from Nasice. They opened the match with three goals in a row. Vojvodina scored first goal in 9th minute. Guest team briefly threatened to decrease Nexe's lead, but before the end of the first half Nexe's advantage grew. In 22nd minute, Mileta scored for 15:7. Vojvodina coach Boris Rojevic called time-out but it didn't result in any difference on the court. Croatian vice-champions were 10 goals up at the half-time. 

In the second half Nexe continued to show their quality. They kept their distance and advantage which they acquired during first half. So, home team coach Hrvoje Horvat and guest coach Boris Rojevic could make a changes in their team before national teams week. Nexe's left back Sasa Barisic Jaman with nine goals was the best scorer in the winning team. Besides him, Zivan Pesic with 5 goals and Gianfranco Pribetic with 4 goals were also very effective on the court. On the other side, Stefan Ilic, Jovica Nikolic and Stevan Sretenovic were the best scorers in Vojvodina's team with 4 goals each.
