Daniel Andrejew

Just three days after their match against Telekom Veszprem, a brand new exciting clash is in front of the Belarusian champions. On Tuesday, 8th of October, Meshkov Brest will host the pride of Bitola, Eurofarm Rabotnik. The match is scheduled for 5:15 PM (CET).

With only one SEHA - Gazprom League victory so far, the home team will seek chance for wining new points. Currently, Meshkov Brest are placed on the fourth position on the table in Group B with three points. After a dissapointing guest appearance against Telekom Veszprem, the Belarusian squad will try to redeem themselves in this match.

But, it won't be easy as they will play against the team that showed incredible play and amazing team spirit on the court so far. After their historic win against Telekom Veszprem, Eurofarm Rabotnik will be motivated to continue with such results. Stevce Alushovski's squad are currently holding the second place in Group B with 9 points.

Raul Alonso, Meshkov Brest coach:
It’s going to be a tough match. Eurofarm Rabotnik are a well-structured team with a good playing system. They had shown how good they are last week. They played really good matches with really good results. Eurofarm will come to Brest with a big self-confidence. We have to be ready for a tough match.

Maksim Baranau, Meshkov Brest player:
I have a lot of acquaintances in Eurofarm. I played with Kuzmanoski, Ojleski and Kukoski for the Odorhei, Milan Djukic played in Meshkov Brest earlier in his career. They have a good roster with some well-shooting back players. Eurofarm Rabotnik are on the roll now. However, their schedule is difficult. We have been working in this rhythm for many years, but for them it’s a novelty. Let's see how will they handle it. In general, it will be an interesting match. Our main team got a couple days off last week. It really helped to take a breath and recharge. We spent time with our families. That is very important. I think this will positively affect the team.

Stevce Alushovski, Eurofarm Rabotnik coach:
It is not easy to play four matches in ten days with a lot of trips. But, we are ready for the match against Meshkov Brest. I have some problems with injuries and tired players, but motivation to play with Belarus champions is on top. Stjepanovic is in doubt after injury in Zagreb, but I hope that everybody will play and we will try to surprise Meshkov Brest squad.

Filip Churlevski, Eurofarm Rabotnik player:
Telekom Veszprem and PPD Zagreb are history and our focus is on the match against Meshkov Brest. They are favourites at home, but in a few days we must prepare well, be smart and try to play a good match. It is pleasure to play matches like this.
