Croatian champions, PPD Zagreb have secured their first victory on the home court this season. In a very dramatic clash, they were better than Eurofarm Rabotnik 24:23 (11:11).

The teams were mostly equal for the whole first half. PPD Zagreb opened the match with a first goal, but the guest equalized right after. Eurofarm Rabotnik soon after took the lead and were up by two goals. They were holding onto that advantage until the 15th minute, when Croatian champions made a turnover. Ante Gadza and Marin Sipic scored quickly which helped PPD Zagreb to take on the lead.

With such rythm of play, neither team managed to secure bigger advantage. Both teams played tough in defense, so there was not a lot of goals scored. They went on a break with 11:11 result.

The hosts opened the second half better. They scored a few back to back goals and were three goals up, which was the biggest advantage of any team in the match up to that moment.

Just when PPD Zagreb thought that they have this match under control, they made some mistakes and allowed Eurofarm to come back into the match. Eurofarm's  Bojan Madzovski scored a fast break goal for 18:18 in the 45th minute.

Veselin Vujovic's squad played more concentrated in the end and secured important victory. Marin Sipic, Luka Mrakovcic and  Zlatko Horvat were the best scorers in the winning team with 4 goals each. On the other side, Lovro Jotic and Vladislav Ostroushko scored 5 goals each.
