Draw in Pancevo in what was without doubt the most interesting match of SEHA - Gazprom League Round 14! In a phenomenal finish, Veselin Jelic scored his second of the day less than 20 seconds before the final whistle leveling the match and, as it later showed, securing one point for the home-team in this one. Tatran Presov coach Slavko Goluza even called a time-out with about 15 seconds left to go but guests failed to endanger Dusan Petrovic in the final attack of the match. In the end 26:26 (12:14) despite of the fact that hosts were trailing throughout the bigger part of the encounter.
Former Barcelona’s player Michal Kasal netted nine goals for guests today but hosts simply refused to give up in this one. Experienced back player Petar Zujovic led the comeback of his team after being three goals down less than ten minutes until the end all the way until their winter reinforcement Ivan Dimitrijevic scored one to give his team 24:23 lead. Hosts even had a chance to enlarge the gap to two which would probably seal the deal in this one but they missed the opportunity and will have to settle with one point in the end. Apart from Kasal, Jakub Hrstka scored six for guests while on the other side Aleksandar Pilipovic netted as much for Dinamo.
Tatran will in the next round host NEXE and Dinamo will travel to Slovenia to meet Celje PL.
