Veszprem for the first time in Subotica

Veszprem prvi puta u Subotici

Veszprem

Spartak Vojput will host one of the best European handball teams, Hungarian MVM Veszprem in the new match of SEHA Gazprom League. Team from Subotica will have no pressure against EHF CL’ runners-up and regional league winners. Serbian vice-champions currently have two wins and a draw which puts them far away from League’s bottom. Spartak Vojput will play without right back Žegarac, who left the team by mutual agreement.

RK Spartak Vojput presented SEHA project "be8player", which will also be presented during the match against Veszprem which starts on Friday, 19.00 CET.

Branislav Zeljković, Spartak Vojput’ coach:

We are aware that in this League there are teams we can fight against and hope for points and teams which are at the moment too strong for us. It is not necessary to say how good Veszprem is, they have lots of amazing players but we have an obligation to play a good, competitive match for our club, city and fans.

Bojan Županjac, Spartak Vojput’ winger:

We have lots of respect for our rivals and that fact motivates us most. I expect good noisy atmosphere in which we’ll do everything to provide decent resistance. We know about their situation and three matches in three days which will surely make them tired. However, they have 20 players on high level they can rotate and keep the pace up.
