Borac willing to surprise both Tatran and themselves

Borac chcú prekvapiť Tatran aj sami seba

Tatran Prešov

Prešov will on Sunday (18.00 CET) host postponed 1round match of SEHA Gazprom League with home team Tatran hosting Borac. League's table currently say that Tatran is fourth with 12 points and Borac m:tel are bottom positioned with only 1 point and without a victory which clearly suggests favorite for this duel. Tatran have before 4 days suffered a minimum loss against Cehovskie Medvedi away in CL while Borac lost in Novi Sad against Vojvodina. Tatran might with a victory reach PPD Zagreb and Vardar on the top while Borac would surely be delighted to finally reach a victory and against favorized opponent. Last year they have managed to surprise Tatran in Banja Luka. Can they repeat it this season in Prešov?

Rastislav Trtik, Tatran´s coach:

After series of nine matches in four different competitions we have to concentrate on three important SEHA League games. We play home games versus Borac, PPD Zagreb and Strumica in next seven days. We're fighting with fatigue but our only goal for tomorrow's match is to win. It is important to have the game under control, give quality performance and give more space to as much players on the court.

Dominik Krok, Tatran´s player:

We have a very demanding program. We cannot underestimate anything and have to give our everything into the game. Borac are a good team. We remember our last loss to Borac away in Bosnia. We will fight hard, play with self-confidence and finish the game with a win.

Boris Dvoršek, Borac m:tel's coach:

Tatran surely are favorites in this match and we want a match just like that one against Haslum in EHF's Cup and not to repeat the performance from Novi Sad. We have to raise our performance level, especially in away matches. Tatran currently surely are a better team but we'd like to surprise both them and ourselves.

Stefan Janković, Borac m:tel's player:

Tatran are a CL's worth opponent and they have ability to rotate the team through the match on all positions. However, I believe we'll find a way to confront them.
