Vojvodina and Borac clash for the premier victory of the season

Serbian and Bosnian champions - Vojvodina and Borac will clash on Wednesday (19.30 CET) in Slana Bara sports hall in Novi Sad in battle for the first victory in the SEHA Gazprom League this season. Both teams, successful on European level, will give maximum effort to finish series of bad results on regional stage.
Vojvodina celebrated two wins in Champions League which gave Nikola Marković’ guys a lot of self-confidence for upcoming matches, while Borac are also in a good moment after qualifying for EHF Cup Round 3 where former Champions Cup winners from 70’s will meet Dutch Lions.
Nikola Marković, Vojvodina’s head coach:
Borac are a good team. It won’t be easy at all. They have several experienced players such as Nikolić, Trivundža, Obradović and lot of young players who have been in Banja Luka for a long time. Very good team, but we want to win, so it won’t be easy for them to take points out from Novi Sad. Now, we are in a good moment and surely, we will play better than before…
Dejan Pralica, Vojvodina’s player:
We are in similar situation. Both teams didn't win in SEHA league yet and we are seeking victory. They are good in European competition just as we are, which means that both teams currently are in good form. Our goal is victory. I am calling fans to help us.

It is a fact that we are still struggling to win in SEHA Gazprom league. We will attack Vojvodina as after Novi Sad, we have matches against Tatran, Veszprem and Vardar. However, we have to be realistic and say that Vojvodina plays very good in EHF Champions League. We have to play like against Haslum with some more details in defence. We are going to play an "open match", to win. In case we manage to keep our defensive block on required level we might reach a victory in Novi Sad.
