After a solid start with 4 points from duels against Borac and Vojvodina, Serbian vice-champions Spartak Vojput will host one of Europe's strongest teams - Macedonian Vardar. Macedonians are coming to Skopje directly from Swedish Kristianstad where they have this weekend managed to reach a new CL victory beating home team with 25:30. Two-time champions will face Spartak without Karačić and Dibirov who will due to injuries travel directly to Macedonian capital.

Match is scheduled for Wednesday, 18.00 CET.

Branislav Zeljković, Spartak' coach:

We have big respect for our rivals. They have many extraordinary players in their roster and it speaks enough of their quality. We've physically prepared well, team was working hard and we're as ready as we can be for this match. Question is if we'll manage to break this mental barrier and play a competitive match against such a team. We have certain goals, to play good in defence, not allow many counter-attacks and tranform fast. I hope we'll manage todo everything we want to and see what it brings us.

Borislav Ljubojević, Spartak' player:

We will face a really strong rival. I strongly believe we won't give up. We will give our maximum and see what such performance will bring to us against a team like Vardar.

Raul Gonzales, Vardar' coach:

Important match which is scheduled very soon after CL's challenge in Kristianstad. We will approach this game seriously, they have good players and I'm sure we'll manage to fins motivation to play. They are good in defence but our goal once again remains the same - we want to continue with victories and good performances.

Danil Shishkarev, Vardar' player:

Spartak are a good team and a good game is what I expect. We are a bit tired but we must not think that way but give our best for another victory. So far we're having a perfect season in both CL and SEHA League and we'll do everything for it to continue.
