SEHA Gazprom teams, Maks Strumica and Borac m:tel will enter tomorrow's match
with the same expectations (20,15) and that is triumph. After five played
matches Maks Strumica have won just one point, while Borac played only one game
against Spartak Vojput and lost. Now the teams are hoping for a victory.
Maks Strumica lost in the last two matches with big goal difference, Meshkov (22-41) and PPD Zagreb (13-42). To restore the atmosphere in the team Maks Strumica needs points and the win. Problems with players injuries should be gone. All players are in the roster with the exception of Mirko Majic.
Borac changed the coach and nominated Boris Dvorsek, who will start on 1st of October. Until then assistant coach Aleksandar Međedović will lead the team. After they were eliminated in the EHF Champions League qualifications, they can now fully focus on SEHA - Gazprom League. Their ambition is the same, to win.
The entrance to the hall "Park" in Strumica is free.
Marjan Andonov, Maks Strumica’s coach
We had problems with players injuries, but now Maks Strumica will be a new team. So we will be fully complete, with the exception of the left wing Mirko Majic. That position will be fulfilled by Boseovski and Atanasov. I expect our first victory in the SEHA Gazprom League. The opponent quality is something similar to ours, and I think that tomorrow the team with more desire for victory will win.
Alen Kulenovic, Maks Strumica’s player
There will be no lack of motivation and desire in our game, starting with me, and so all players will take the chance to play. We will show fighting spirit, that we are a complete team. Several players will return to the squad. Dejan Pecakovski is certainly one of the important links in our team and his return will help us to win and to prove that we are a quality team.
Davorin Vujovic, Borac's player
We are going to Strumica to win our first points. A coaching change has not affected us, and I can freely say that after the failure in the first round it is now time to score first points.
