FINAL 4 Third place match Champions fighting for bronze

zag - var

Two SEHA League's champions Zagreb and Vardar will after losses against Veszprem and Meshkov in semis fight for third place. Vardar have not performed well against Meshkov and Zagreb were close to a surprise against favorized Veszprem which is a guarantee of a spectacle for the end of the season. This will also be Zagreb's third bronze medal match in SEHA League. In first two they have managed to beat Tatran twice. On the other side this will be first time for Vardar to fight for bronze after reaching final in all three previous seasons.

VESELIN VUJOVIĆ, PPD Zagreb's coach:

This will be our fourth match in 7 days and it is visible that my players are getting tired, it is not easy. Hardest thing I have to do is prepare the team for this match, 'bring them back to life', mentally but I believe we still have enough energy and motive to play a good match against one of the best teams from this region and of course hope it will be enough to win.

RAUL GONZALES, Vardar's coach:

Tomorrow we will play Zagreb, whole new Zagreb with Vujović I have to say, they've made a big progress and I'd like to congratulate them on that. Tough match is ahead of us.

LOVRO ŠPREM, PPD Zagreb's player:

We know each other very well, we've already played against each other for a few times this season. We both have some injured players, we're both tired but of course our goals remain the same, we want to win and reach third place. It won't be easy, they maybe have bigger roster but we will do our best tomorrow.

SERGEI GORBOK, Vardar's player:

We respect Zagreb, they are playing real good handball lately. Speaking of us we have a lot of injuries but we will of course do our best to celebrate tomorrow.
