Veszprem will be a big step forward, speaking of both sport and marketing

Ahead of SEHA GSS League's Final tournament which will be played from 25th to 29th of March we have spoken with League's director Siniša Ostoić.

Mr. Ostoić, we are ahead of SEHA GSS League's fourth final tournament. It will be played in Veszprem...

So far final tournaments have been held in Croatia, Macedonia and Serbia so we have this time decided to give Hungary, which for the first time has a representative in, a chance.

Playing system of the final tournament is also new?

In this season's F4 we have decided to show respect to teams which have showed best performances throughout the whole season. By that I mean that we have decided to put two top positioned teams after the regular part of the season straight through to semi-finals and we'll get their opponents from little semi-finals, from clashes between teams placed from position 3 to 6. I believe that system has already proved to be a good choice with League being interesting until its very end because we still do not know which teams will travel to Veszprem. Final 6 because we have 6 teams and Final 4 after it which already is tradition.

What else does this system bring?

More teams, more days as a bigger promotion of the League. In these 5 days I can say we'll have SEHA GSS League's handball festival and our goal is to have the final tournament as a crown of the great season in which League has clearly rised. I believe that with these two matches, so called little semis, we will have additional promotion justifying both sports and marketing aspect. And by that, I do not have any doubts that Veszprem Arena will once again be fully crowded.
