Meshkov and Tatran for third position in Brest

Tatran Prešov - Meshkov Brest 4 (14/15)

Important match will be played on Saturday in Brest for position 3 ahead of final tournament in Veszprem with Meshkov hosting Tatran. PPD Zagreb also find this match important having quite chances in case this match finishes without winner. Match against Metalurg has surely warned hosts that they have to play best they can in order to win each match and Tatran have been thought that lesson little earlier in Banja Luka after a tough loss.

Željko Babić, Meshkov's coach:

This duel is very important for my team. We're having problems with our roster . David Špiler surely won't be able to play and Ivan Karačić and Dmitry Kamyshyk are still uncerteain. It will be difficult but we'll do everything to win. Rivals are very good holding high tempo for all 60 minutes but we know that in case we win we have big chances to finish third in the end and that motivates us additionally.

Dzianis Rutenka, Meshkov's player:

This match is our last one at home in SEHA GSS League this season and we'll do our best not to disappoint our fans. I think we're playing better and better and that makes me happy. I believe we'll be able to reach third place.

Peter David, Tatran's coach:

We are heading to last two games of this season before the final tournament. Meshkov Brest are clear favorites in this match. I can not forget the loss against Brest in Qualification tournament for Champions League in September last year in Brest. By winning this match I would get some of the satisfaction. Of course we take preparation for this match seriously. To win this match we need to be more concentrated in order to avoid unforced mistakes.

Andrej Petro, Tatran's player:

Meshkov Brest belongs to top teams in SEHA GSS League. They have very good players on all positions. To succeed in this match we must not make beginner's mistakes because they know how to punish them very effectively. We will do our best to win.
