Peter David, Tatran's coach:

We've started this match well with big help from our goalkeeper Sveto Verkić. After 6:0 and 8:2 we've lost concentration and all we got from the first half was 12:12. In the second half our guests have woken up, showed CL class and this result was simply in the end best we could reach.

Alexander Radchenko, Tatran's player:

We've played well in the first half although we weren't able to take advantage from few power-plays. Unfortunately we did not manage to save +6 we've created and Vardar's longer bench has in the end decided the match.

Raul Gonzalez, Vardar's coach:

I am quite satisfied with this match. Tatran have played really well tonight especially in defense. We have prepared for this match because it was very important for us to secure second place ahead of final tournament. I am happy with the result.

Strahinja Milić, Vardar's goalkeeper: It was a good match for us. At the beginning we've had a few problems in our game but in the end we've started playing like we can and won 3 important points.
