Vugrinec bringing an important point in his last match for Metalurg

Metalurg’s star, right-back Renato Vugrinec has played his last match in jersey of Macedonian champion, almost perfectly, with 9 goals, 8 assists, and although was alone with youngsters, team managed to get a point against Vojvodina, 26-26.
In an interesting match finish, Metalurg’ve had a chance to win, but did not use the last attack. Later Elezović had a chance to bring Vojvodina 3 points but his shot missed the target. Last ten minutes have brought a real sensation with Metalurg's youngsters Taleski, Neloski, Madzovski and Kosteski making 5:0 series to reach 25:25 four minutes before the end.
Apart from the initial lead 1-0 and 2-1, Vojvodina have five minutes into the match managed to take control of the match slowly increasing the lead. At the end of the first half it was 17:10.

Vojvodina are a good team and now they have showed they are strong and experienced. However we've managed to show we can fight and this has brought us a point. I think my players have showed that they are good and ready to fight because even when we were 7-8 goals down they did not lose hope. I like how they have performed today, honestly. This season we will win some matches, lose some but our goal is to fight and do everything we can to reach best possible results.

I think in this match we’ve showed character and that in case we play like we know, we can get back into the match even if we' re down. We were better in the second half and we can be satisfied with a draw.

In the first half we've played well in defense scoring few easy goals in transition. It was unfortunately not enough, we've made some mistakes in the second half and we have a draw. We can be satisfied and in the same moment feel sorry we did not win because in the last attack we could have lost but we also could have won.
