Tatran as a favorite against Metalurg

Tatran Prešov - Meshkov Brest 2 (14/15)

Macedonian champions have already played a match after WCh break winning important points in a duel against NEXE. Now they will have to travel to Prešov to play Tatran for the second time in past 4 years. In their only match in Prešov they were not able to beat hosts losing 27:20. Tatran is now clear favorite considering Metalurg's current situation and position on League's table. It is also important to state that Macedonians will play with a mixed roster which gives hosts additional advantage. Here is what coaches and players think of the clash between Macedonian and Slovak champions.

Peter David, Tatran's coach:

- After a long six week winter break we are looking forward to the beginning of the second part of the season and duel against Metalurg. We haven't forgotten our loss in Skopje and our goal is to take revenge at home!

Jakub Krupa, Tatran's goalkeeper:

- During the winter preparations we've played some really good matches against high quality teams. In case we manage to play on that level tomorrow I believe we'll be in a big chance for taking 3 new points. We will by that have home court advantage on our side and our fans behind us which is always an additional boost.

Marko Neloski, Metalurg's player:

- We expect a difficult match in Prešov. Tatran will certainly want to take revenge for the defeat in Skopje earlier this season. We will have to play best we know. Our goal is to take another 3 points after the match against NEXE and stay in the winning rhytm.

Lino Červar, Metalurg's coach:

- Tatran are playing outstanding this season and they have a big chance to qualify once again for the Final Four tournament. We expect a tough match and we'll do our best to take another 3 points against them in our second clash this season. We will once again play with a rejuvenated team full of players eager to prove themselves as good enough players for the first team and willing to show what they can.
