Borac as a chance for a victorious end of 2014 in “Jane Sandanski”

Борац е шанса за победнички крај на 2014 во „Јане Сандански“

Vardar Borac

After winning the big Macedonian derby, Vardar will play another match at home, in Skopje - this time as a clear favorite against Borac from Banja Luka.

It will be tough for coach Gonzales to find the right lineup because most of Vardar's players are exhausted from CL's as well as SEHA GSS League's challenges.

Borac are with only four points currently ninth but their performances in some matches this season were very good and promising. In their first this season's clash 'red-blacks' were better with 31:22. Vardar have 24 points and are on the second place. Another win would separate them a bit from PPD Zagreb, which also has 24 points. Good thing for Vardar tomorrow will be Igor Karačić' comeback after his back injury.

Raul Gonzales, Vardar’s coach:

This is our last home match of the year and we of course hope for the best. Borac are a good team despite of the fact that they currently have only 4 points. They have really good team with some remarkable players like Nikolić or Obradović and we certeainly must not underestimate them. We play good at the moment and we want to win and get three new important points.

Stefan Terzić, Vardar’s player:

Borac are a team with great mix of experience and youth. Nikolić, Obradović and Trivundža are great players but I expect a win in front of our fans as a boost before our last match of the season - the one against NEXE in Osijek. However, we must not underestimate our guests, play tight defence, patient in offence and I'm sure everything will be OK.

Igor Radjenović, Borac’s coach:

Our players are surely tired after the match versus Meshkov in Brest and Vardar are complete favorites. We are not under any kind of pressure and I believe we can play well. Our younger players will surely get a chance tomorrow and I believe it is great for them.

Mirko Mikić, Borac’s player:

Vardar are one of the best teams in Europe, not only in the SEHA GSS League. We travel to Skopje without big ambitions, we’ll play best we can and see what it brings us.
