Borac wants to surprise PPD Zagreb

Borac želi iznenaditi PPD Zagreb

Zagreb Borac

Borik sports hall in Banja Luka will on Friday host SEHA GSS League's round 7 match with home team Borac m:tel hosting PPD Zagreb. Borac is entering the match with 4 points as eight positioned team on League's table. Croatian champions are on the other side third with 12 points. Guest team's goal in this match is to stay near the leading duo Veszprem and Vardar and hosts only wish to 'run as far as possible' from the bottom. Zagreb and Borac have so far met six times in SEHA GSS League with Croats each time coming out as winners. Their hardest win was last season in Borik when they were narrowly better with 25:24. Borac is entering the match with their full roster, maybe only without Đukić and Zagreb is on the other side traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina without their captain Horavt as well as injured Mandalinić and Vuglač.

Igor Rađenović, Borac m:tel's coach:

With Veselin Vujović on their bench Zagreb has become a completely different team, especially in attack - they are playing much faster and it will be hard to stop them. We have no pressure and that is good. I hope players will give their maximum.

Nemanja Bezbradica, Borac m:tel's player:

The fact that they have managed to beat Kiel says enough about our next opponent. We've had 10 days to prepare for this match and atmosphere in the team is great...

Veselin Vujović, PPD Zagreb's coach:

Despite of their results Borac is a good team, especially on their court, in Borik with their fans behind them. We have to be contentrated not to get into any sort of dangerous situation. We surely are aware that we are favorites but we still have to show it on playing court.

Luka Stepančić, PPD Zagreb's player:

Last season we've played a really tough match in Banja Luka but I believe also that we've learned some things from that, especially about how we must approach and mentally prepare for such matches.  We respect Borac, they have some outstanding player like Obradović, Trivundža or Nikolić and they can surely stac close to anyone of they are given a chance. But, I believe we won't do it tomorrow.
