Vardar still without a loss in 'Jane Sandaski'

Без дилеми во Скопје – Вардар лесно го одби дуелот со Раднички

Vardar - Radnički 15 (14/15)

The only dilemma of the game was goal difference on home team's side with Vardar confidently beating Serbian vice-champions Radnički. This was sixth win from seven matches for Macedonian champions in the regional League.

Coach Gonzalez' decision was to rest some of his important players like Šterbik, Dujshebaev, Shishkarev, Gorbok and Marković giving players who play less this season like Lazarov, Rastvorcev, Jovčevski, Nedanovski and Terzić a chance to show what they can and fight for the fist team. Coach's idea was to use motivated, fresh players after a tough away match in EHF's CL against Montpellier.

Vardar was dominating the court in both ways, dictating the tempo and having the match completely under control. Goal difference was slowly rising with guests trying to catch Macedonians who would then swith into higher gear and reach big lead again. Radnički's last hope was at 16:13 but then home team has made 5:1 series and completely decided the match.

Stefan Terzić was Vardar's best scorer with 7 goals, Brumen and Lazarov added 6 each. Speaking of Radnički Pralica scored 7, Grbović 6.

Duel with Radnički was a good test for Vardar before Friday's clach against multiple Slovak champions Tatran from Prešov.

Nebojša Nedeljković, Radnički’s coach

Vardar is among TOP five clubs in Europe at this time also being a serious candidate for CL's F4 tournament in Cologne. They've completely deserved to win today. We've come here with a lot of respect for our opponent but with a will to play best handball we can and we did it. This was a much better performance than our first match in Skopje this season, against Metalurg. I am not pleased with starts of both half, we were to slow but we'll work on that and improve.

Aleksandar Bosić, Radnički’s player

Our goal was to be equal with Vardar for as long as we can as well as correct mistakes we were making in previous matches. Difference in quality between us is too big and I can’t say anything else but wish them luck in the future.

Raul Gonzalez, Vardar’s coach

I’m pleased with the victory, with three points and with a step towards our goal - F4 tournament. We play better at home than we do 'on road' and that's thing we have to work on. Radnički is a good team, ready to surprise, we were a bit tired but players who were today given a chance were on a required level and we've managed to reach this win.

Stefan Terzić, Vardar’s player

We've running the court welll through the whole match starting the game well with 4:0 series. We've had ups and downs but all in all it was a good match. I am really happy with chance coach has given to me and other players who play less and I believe we've used it well. We're looking forward to Friday and our duel with Tatran.
