Draw and defeat are behind Radnički Kragujevac at the beginning of the SEHA GAZPROM South Stream League. The next rival, Borac Banja Luka, will be the real chance for the Serbian vice-champions to celebrate their first win in the regional competition. Match will be played on Thursday, 19:00 CET.
Nedeljko Vučković, Radnički’ coach:
- We are giving all the efforts in preparation for the match in which we want to win three points, which would give us a boost of self-confidence for further matches. Some teams are much better than us, but we have to adapt to the situation and try to reduce the difference in comparation with stronger squads. This match is very important for us, because we will play next four matches as visitors against teams from the upper part. I am happy because of Serbian best young player Aleksandar Radosavljević’ return who was targeted by some European teams, but he decided to come to Kragujevac.
Dejan Pralica, Radnički’ player:
- We expect a true battle tomorrow against a team of our level. Their members are former Radnički’ captain Milan Đukić and former Serbian NT captain Ratko Nikolić. It will be tough match and that’s why I am using opportunity to call fans to come and support us. However, we will give our best.
Igor Rađenović, Borac’ coach:
- We will play against the team from "our rank", chances are 50-50. We have problems with injuries of Mikić and Đukić. We will give our maximum to win first points in the season. Our advantages are experience of playing the regional league, but also fitness, as they’ve played three matches in last 10 days.
Davorin Vujović, Borac’ player:
- Radnički are ambitious team who will be fully motivated to take first points in the regional league. We are preparing the whole week for this match and we’re going to Kragujevac to try to win points. It will be a tough match, but I believe in good performance and first celebration.
