Vardar Skopje once again on top

Vardar is SEHA GSS League's new champion! Team from Skopje has managed to beat Belarus Brest Meshkov in a great final match and take the title again after SEHA's first season, as well as the main prize of 35,000 euros. 

More than 3,000 people were in SPENS today for the final day of SEHA GSS League's F4 in Novi Sad to celebrate with Vardar their new title. 

Meshkov has opened the match in a better way, with 0:3 series produced by Serbian pivot Rastko Stojkovic from 7-meter line. Soonly after that Vardar has woken up and taken the match under their control. They were slowly catching 

Belarus team through the first half, reaching the first equaliser at 12:12. Final score of the first half was 15:14 for the team from Skopje. 

In the second half Vardar was able to keep the advantage alive although it was not bigger than +4 in any moment. Timur Dibirov was simply outstanding, too fast for Meshkov. He has today proved why he is probably League's biggest star with 11 goals. Igor Karacic and Alex Dujshaebaev added 4 for Vardar. Rutenka has on the other side scored 7 , Stojkovic 6 for Belarus team. 
Gonzales: ‘’ I hope we’ll play like this against Flensurg too"
"Brest Meshkov have played great tonight, maybe they were a little tired, but even with that on their back we were pretty much the same on court. This is my first title and I am very happy and proud of my team. I believe that if we manage to play like this in EHF’s CL against Flensburg, we can dream of Cologne and another Final Four", concluded Vardar’s coach Raul Gonzales

"We were equal for 50 minutes but then they've proved they're currently stronger than us'', said F4's best pivot Rastko Stojkovic.

"I have to congratulate to our opponents on excellent handball they’ve presented tonight. They were better but we will prepare for the next season even better’’, added Meshkov’s coach, Zeljko Babic.

After the match F4's 'Best 7' and MVP were announced, followed by great audio and visual effects in SPENS.
