Montenegrin champions have in their third SEHA season managed to catch only ninth spot at the end of the regular part of the season. Team from Cetinje surely had bigger ambitions speaking of their first two seasons after which they were sixth with 36 and 29 points. This year they were good enough for only 11. Twice better than Borac, once than Partizan and draws in Skopje with Metalurg and in Osijek against NEXE.

There were simply too many problems for situation to develop in a different way. The main problem were finances because of which the whole last year's roster has fallen apart at the beginning of the season. Kasim Kamenica was on the bench at the start, after him Zeljko Petricevic and in the end Zoran Abramovic. With all these changes there was no true work and discipline which is visible on results. Sure thing is that Lovcen can as only Montenegrin representative do more but the question is if what they are doing to achieve it is enough.

By all problems coach Zoran Abramovic has managed to raise young team's form in the end but it was not enough for a better place. Only 4 players have played all 18 matches this season - goalkeeper Vladan Abramovic, left winger Milan Popovic who was with 62 goals team's first scorerdue to captain Igor Markovic' injury. Abramovic has given Popovic all his trust and he used it in a best possible way.

Young right winger Mirko Radovic has also shown potential, just like 21 year old pivot Stefan Cizmovic. Youngster Vuko Borilovic was also outstanding in some matches bringing rare joy to the team from Cetinje. With 16 matches behind him, he has proved perspective. These young men are a reason for optimism in Cetinje. In case the manage to keep them, of course.

Team's TOP scorer, without 7-meter shots with 55 goals was Marko Draskovic, one of experienced players in their roster.

Season to forget for sure and to see in future if Lovcen can get back on where they were before.
