Vardar confident in Cetinje against Lovcen

Vardar sigurno do pobjede na Cetinju

Lovćen - Vardar 3

Vardar has ran through through Cetinje easily and is after two losses, to Vojvodina and NEXE, back on winning tracks. Weakened Lovcen was not an opponent to hurt Macedonian champion today. Half-time result said 23:8 for the team from Skopje, Lovcen has managed to lose the second half with only three goals less than Vardar which meant final -18 for hosts.

Aleksandar Carcev, Vardar's assistant coach:

- We have played a very good match . We weren't even expecting an easy match but we've reached a very important win for Final Four. It is still not over and we have to repeat this performance against Borac.

Luka Rakovic, Vardar's player:

- We've played like we've agreed to before the match and ended this loosing streak. This win comes in a right moment to raise team's self-confidence before the Final Four tournament.

Zoran Abramovic, Lovcen's coach:

- We're starting to get more and more tired with three games in last six days and 15 days without a real training. This was probably, due to our bad injury situation, the worst moment to face such a strong opponent like Vardar. They were faster than us in the beginning, made the difference and it was already over.

Stefan Cizmovic, Lovcen's player:

- The fact that we weren't training for 15 days became visible today. We were by that playing without few important players, Vardar showed quality and won easily.

Vardar will on Tuesday play Borac in Banja Luka and Lovcen will on the other side play their last match in SEHA GSS league this season on Friday (14.2.) in Osijek against NEXE.
