In round 16 of SEHA GSS league, Lovcen will today (18:00 CET) host Vardar. Lovcen is one spot above league's bottom with problems on their back and on the other hand Vardar is fourth with hope to qualify for Final Four in Novi Sad. After a loss to NEXE in Osijek they have no right to make more mistakes in race against Metalurg or Meshkov. For Vardar a chance to prepare for Hamburg and EHF's CL, for Vojvodina opportunity to show what they can against high-quality opponent.

 

Raul Gonzales, Vardar's coach:

- We want to win this game and get a step closer towards Final Four. We have prepared for this great and are ready for the match. It is obvious we want to win this and we are confident.

 

Matjaz Brumen, Vardar's player:

- After a couple of unexpected defeats we've suffered during last few weeks we are definitely taveling there to win this. We're playing SEHA league and have a certain goal, to play Final four, and we will give our best to achieve it. We have to show what we can in last three matches of the regular part of the season.

 

Drasko Kaluderovic, Lovcen's player:

- This will be a very hard match for us, rival is really strong and we have many injury problems. That doesn't mean that we will not do our best to surprise them, we hope they won't be on their highest level, like in the last two games.

 

Zoran Abramovic, Lovcen's coach:

- We're playing the most attractive opponent in SEHA GSS league and CL competitor. I'm sorry we're having injury problems but I'm on the other side looking forward to our young players getting chance to play against such an opponent.
