Only victory is the option for Metalurg

After three defeats in a row in SEHA GSS league with the last in Belgrade against Partizan, the only remaining option for Metalurg's players, in case they want to qualify for the Final Four, is to win next three games.
Tomorrow's match against Vojvodina (17:45 CET, Boris Trajkovski hall) should be just a "training" for what follows, two tough matches versus Meshkov and Tatran. If the Macedonian team wants to play in Novi Sad for the title, they have to win all three games, but also to wait on other results, especially from matches Meshkov and Vardar will play until the end of the regular part of the season.
Renato Vugrinec is back in Lino Cervar's roster after recovering from injury unlike Russian Pavel Atman who is still absent. Vugrinec will surely be an important part of Metalurg's squad in the upcoming matches in both, SEHA GSS league and EHF CL's Last 16 clash versus Kolding.
Vojvodina is on the other hand in a good winning streak with three wins in a row which is great for their form before the domestic championship which is waiting them.
Lino Cervar, Metalurg's coach:
- We know what kind of opponent is Vojvodina, as they’re Serbian champion, and their form is constantly improving in each game. They have quality players like Elezovic, Veselinov and Barisic. I expect my team to play the best and with strongest squad we currently have, with the exception of Pavel Atman who is still having problem with his shoulder injury. We only think about winning this match.
Goce Georgievski, Metalurg's player:
- We've had a lot of hard matches in the last period, and the whole team is a little tired, physically and mentally. Metalurg will look for victories in each remaining match and although Vojvodina is coming to Skopje highly motivated, we hope to win.

- After three losses in a row in SEHA GSS league, we knows that our rival Metalurg will give their best to end the losing streak. We have played very good in past two matches and we want to continue playing on that level and higher. Our schedule was pretty rough last few weeks but I believe we can play good again and even try to surprise the home-team.

- Metalurg is an excellent team and they are big favorites in the upcoming match. They have had a very tough playing schedule past few weeks and lost against Partizan in their last game.
