Meshkov closer to Novi Sad

Meshkov Brest - Borac 1
Belarus team Meshkov has a real chance to be a participant on SEHA GSS league's F4 tournament after they have managed to beat Borac Banja Luka 31-27, bringing the team from Brest to third place of the table with 30 points.

From the beginning of the match it seemed that Meshkov will not have problems with Borac, and quickly made the score with 3-4 goals deference. Visitors have in few moments managed to cut the lead to 1 or 2 but Meshkov was today simply better.

Now Meshkov has two tough matches away Metalurg and NEXE, which might be crucial for placement on Final Four tournament in April.

Jani Cop, Borac's coach:
- Congratulations to  our opponents they've deserved the victory. Despite the fact that we have played well - we have a lot of problems. Nikolic was not here for us today and we've missed him. Our rival has longer bench and it has decided the game.

Stefan Jankovic, Borac's player:
- I hope the situation will change soon in the club. This young team has today showed that we have the potential and we can play much better.

David Spiler, Meshkov's player:
Our rival played very well today. They have a good young team. For us the most important thing was the victory and to earn three points. Our goal is Final Four. We've made a step closer. I'm pleased with this.

Zeljko Babic, Meshkov'c coach:
- The win today is important for us. It is clear that we wanted to win this to get a step closer to our goal, SEHA GSS Final Four.
