Luka Cindric (20 years, 185 cm, 90 kg), best scorer of the Croatian Premier handball league has signed two years contract with Metalurg, and will be replacement for injured Naumce Mojsovski who will miss rest of the season due to ligaments surgery.

- I am very happy and honored with great handball expert like Cervar wanting me in his team. Metalurg has given me the great opportunity but also a great responsibility due to great expectations they have from me replacing one of the biggest handball stars Balkan has, Naumce Mojsovski. I will do everything I can to get back to coach Cervar for this opportunity and to show what I can, -said the new Metalurg's center-back Luka Cindric.

Macedonian vice-champion's leaders had to respond quickly and find the right solution to replace Mojsovski in both EHF Champions League and SEHA GSS league as his recovery might take a few months.

Metalurg is close to secure a place in the Last 16 stage of the EHF Champions League and has a large and realistic opportunity to confirm and place in the April Final four of SEHA GSS league.

Cindric has last season played for Karlovac which has finished third last year in the national championship and was also participant of 1/6 finals of EHF's Challenge Cup. He was, by that league's top scorer and assistant. After 15 rounds played in the Premier League he has scored 131 goals from 210 attempts with an average of 8,73 goals per game.
