In what was the premier SEHA Gazprom League appearance for both teams PPD Zagreb were at home better than Tatran Presov with 25:20. Matej Asanin delivered an exceptional performance finishing the match with 19 saves for Croatian champions.
Match was completely levelled in opening 15 minutes with neither team managing to open the gap.
