Motor Zaporozhye - Meshkov Brest 28:33 (11:15)

(Pukhouski 7, Komok 10 saves / Vailupau 8, Accambray 7, Pesic 14 saves)

Raul Alonso, Meshkov Brest coach:
We've done our best to forget about all the problems and focus on this match here today. We've now managed to defeat Motor four times this season and I'd like to congratulate my guys on that. I wish Motor all the best in the future.

Jaka Malus, Meshkov Brest player:
I am glad we've managed to win this game. I'd like to congratulate Motor on not giving up and delivering a solid performance in the second half despite being eight goals behind five minutes into it.

Gintaras Savukinas, Motor Zaporozhye coach:
Today we did not play the way we wanted to. It felt like we've burned out in the first half already and it was not easy to play until the end. Opponents knew how to take advantage of all of our mistakes opening the gap to four before the half-time whistle. We didn't open the second half the way we wanted to either allowing guests to seal the deal in this one early. What was positive in this one was our defense in the first half. Maxim Vyunik delivered a solid outing in his premier appearance as well but we have to keep on working hard in order to be able to win at this level.

Maxim Vyunyk, Motor Zaporozhye goalkeeper:
We've experienced a few problems on the defensive side of the ball that have to be fixed. We were a bit less fortunate on offense today but despite of everything I'd like to congratulate my guys. We missed that little bit of sports luck but overall I can say I'm satisfied and I want to thank coach for the opportunity. I wish Brest all the best on final tournament.
