Vardar sign two new players

Vardar

Vardar have signed two new players until the end of the season - goalkeeper Borko Ristovski and back player Marko Mishevski. Both players have already played for Vardar and have now decided to return to Macedonian capital and will be available to play in SEHA quarter-finals against Nexe.

After six years of playing abroad goalkeeper Borko Ristovski (37) will once again put on Vardar's shirt. He's been a part of the team back from 2001 to 2003 and then from 2010 to 2012. Ristovski has a lot of experience of playing both for Macedonian teams like Rabotnicki, Jug, Makedonija, Vardar and Metalurg as well as on international level as a part of Barcelona, Gummersbach, Rhein-Neckar Löwen, Qatari Al Ahly and French Creteil. His last club was Portuguese Benfica. By that, he has also been a regular part of Macedonian national team back from 2009 with an exception of 2017 WCh.

After only a few months in Grenoble, France, Marko Mishevski has also decided to return to Vardar. He's grown as a player in Vardar's handball school and was a part of the team last season in Cologne when 'Red&Black' went all the way.

Vardar will on Sunday meet Nexe in the first leg of their SEHA quarter-final clash. Second part of March will on the other hand be reserved for EHF CL eighth-finals clashes against MOL Pick Szeged.
