Vujovic: “It wasn't as easy as we expected because BSU fought until the end“

Stevan Vujovic

Beijing Sport University - Motor Zaporozhye 23:30 (10:19)
( Xiaoqi Wang 5 / Kravchenko 10; Komok 12 saves )

Vlado Sola, Beijing Sport University coach:
Motor are way too good for us, especially on the defensive side of the court. They managed to open the gap rapidly which was a bit frustrating as nothing really functioned the right way for us. We're obviously not capable of delivering two strong outings in a row in only a few days but we will work on that.

Juncheng Wang, Beijing Sport University player:
We allowed them to score way too many in the first half. We'll keep up the good work and look to progress.

Rostislav Lanevich, Motor Zaporozhye coach:
I'm happy we won this match as it helped us book quarter-finals ticket for ourselves. In the second half we've allowed BSU to cut the lead a bit which complicated things for us a bit but an away win is always good.

Stevan Vujovic, Motor Zaporozhye player:
We are satisfied with this win. It turned out it wasn't as easy as we expected because BSU fought until the end. Congrats to them on a good match. The most important thing for us is that we've managed to celebrate.
