Motor finish off strongly grabbing three points in Nasice

Motor Zaporozhye

Motor Zaporozhye have with a furious finish managed to win three points in a tough away game in Nasice on Tuesday evening (25:28) climbing Group A standings and levelling themselves with Vardar as both teams now have 18 points. Nexe will on the other side most likely finish fifth as they have 12 points with two rounds to go.

Hosts were playing well in the first having one-goal lead at the end of opening 30 minutes despite of being even four goals down at some points of the first. However, it felt like they've managed to catch the right rhythm later into the half. They were playing even better in the beginning of the second opening the gap to three goals but as the match was coming to a close they were slowing down which allowed guests to level things out at 23:23 with about five minutes left until the final buzzer.

Nexe scored their last goal of the match a bit over three minutes before the final whistle after which they once again, a lot like in the game against Benfica, committed way too many costly turnovers and mistakes allowing Motor to finish the game furiously with a 4:0 series taking the final win 25:28.

Stevan Vujovic finished the match with seven goals while Sasa Barisic Jaman scored six for Nexe. Komok and Kireev combined for 15 saves while Car on the other hand grabbed 11.
