EHFCL Round 6 preview: Vardar host Meshkov Brest, Motor Zaporozhye to meet with THW Kiel

After team week obligations, SEHA clubs continue their adventures in the VELUX EHF Champions League. Round 6 will bring many exciting moments as there will be two clashes between SEHA clubs. On Saturday, 2nd of November, Tatran Presov will host Eurofarm Rabotnik while on Sunday, 3rd of November, Vardar will meet with Meshkov Brest. 

PGE VIVE Kielce – Telekom Veszprem (Group B)
Telekom Veszprem will open the 6th round for SEHA clubs on Saturday, 2nd of November. Hungarian champions will travel to Poland where they will meet with PGE VIVE Kielce. It will be a real test for the Hungarian champions as Kielce scored some amazing results at the start of the season. In their very first match of the season against THW Kiel, they showed serious intentions for great results as they secured a draw. In their most recent Champions League clash, they were better than Meshov Brest which gave them additional confidence boost. On the other side, Telekom Veszprem had their fair share of great results. With 3 wins and 2 losses, they are currently holding the second position in Group B. 

Tatran Presov – Eurofarm Rabotnik (Group C)
Tatran Presov and Eurofarm Rabotnik have met in the previous round when Slovakian gem secured tight 24:23 victory. That match was special for Slavko Goluza's squad because it was their first Champions League victory of the season. Now both teams have one victory secured which places them on the bottom positions in Group C. Team from Bitola is holding 5th place while Tatran Presov is holding the 6th place. It will be interesting to see who will take points in this re-match of the previous round's clash. 

Vardar – Meshkov Brest (Group B)
Sunday will be reserved for another clash of the SEHA clubs. Reigning SEHA and European champions, Vardar will host Belarusian champions Meshkov Brest. After two back to back losses in the Champions League, Vardar are looking to come back on the winning track. Meshkov Brest are also looking for new points as PGE VIVE Kielce secured victory in their most recent Champions League match. Overall, they have secured one victory so far which is enough for the 7th place at the moment in Group B. Team from Skopje is positioned higher on the table. With 3 victories and 2 losses, Vardar are holding 4th place.  

Motor Zaporozhye – THW Kiel (Group B)
In another Sunday's match, Motor Zaporozhye will meet with THW Kiel. It will be a clash between the teams that are holding top and bottom positions in Group B. With one draw and 4 losses so far, Motor Zaporozhye are placed on the 8th position, while THW Kiel are on the top with 4 wins and one draw. Home court and support from their fans will be important factors for Ukrainian champions in their attempt to win new points.    

Elverum Handball – PPD Zagreb (Group A)
PPD Zagreb will close the 6th round for SEHA clubs with a match against Elverum Handball. This will be one of the most important clashes for Croatian champions as they still haven't secured any points this season in the Champions League. Veselin Vujovic's squad is placed on the bottom of the table in Group A, while Elverum Handball are positioned on the 7th place. The hosts didn't secure any points so far as well.
