The upcoming edition of the SEHA – Gazprom League will welcome back two teams. Hungarian Telekom Veszprem and Serbian Metaloplastika Sabac will rejoin the SEHA family in 2019/2020 season. The start of their comeback will be in Group B where they will play against Croatian PPD Zagreb, Belarusian Meshkov Brest and the newcomers, Eurofarm Rabotnik from Bitola and Spartak from Russia.
In their first season back, the expectations are high for Telekom Veszprem. The Hungarian champions are one of the favourites for winning the title. They have an amazing team and new reinforcements that will help the squad reach its full potential. In their attempt to secure their third SEHA trophy, one of the the biggest challenges are going to be another amazing team, PPD Zagreb.
Croatian champions and reigning SEHA – Gazprom League runner-ups, are constant guests at the Final 4 tournaments. They are also eager to take one step further and finish on top. After losing in the last season's finals, they will surely be fully motivated to finish the 9th SEHA edition in the victoriuos way. Playing against Telekom Veszprem in this group will bring a lot of excitement and tense matches.
Another returnees, Serbian Metaloplastika are motivated to improve their result from their first SEHA season. Team from Sabac are set on achieving great results and showing what the real team spirit can do. In that attempt, they will meet with Eurofarm Rabotnik, team from Bitola.
The pride of Bitola will be a part of our League for the very first time as well as the Russian team, Spartak. They will have to work hard in order to book their tickets for the next round. Every beginning is tough, but their greatest support will be their loud and loyal fans who will help them in tough situations.
With so many great teams, this group will bring a lot of surprises and amazing play for all the handball enthusiasts. It will be interesting to see who will meet all these expectations and reach the top positions on the table.
