On Sunday (17:30) Zagreb Arena will host SEHA GSS league derby between CO Zagreb and Vardar from Skopje, two SEHA league's champions.
Vardar won the title in the first season by winning the match against Zagreb in Final four's semifinal and Metalurg in final.
CO Zagreb was on the other had last season's champion after beating Meshkov in semifinal and Vardar in final in Skopje.
Both teams have started the competitions seriously this season but with one loss each. For Vardar it has happened at home against Tatran and for Zagreb in Belarus Meshkov.
Zagreb has not changed his roster a lot from the last season and Vardar bought some great Russian and Spanish reinforcements and this season their goal is to win the competition again. Is it going to work we will see on Sunday in Arena.
Speaking of the 'European ambitions', both teams wish to pass the group stage. CO Zagreb is currently on fourth place of the group A with 4 points and Vardar in third in group C, also with three points, ahead of Europe's richest team at the moment - PSG.
SEHA GSS really has true derby of European quality and that's why Arena is on Sunday (17:30) the place to be at.
