In the next one and a half year Macedonian vice-champion Metalurg will be strengthened with the addition of defensive player Teo Coric (26).
He will join Metalurg in the next few days and will be a big reinforcement for the remainder of the season in SEHA – Gazprom League and decisive matches in the domestic championship. As a defensе specialist, Coric will be an important player to help improve team performances.
Coric came to Metalurg after a second season in the second Bundesliga, as a member of Rhein Viking. Previously Coric played for Zamet, Porec, PPD Zagreb and Stuttgart.
The 26-year old Croatian has experience in SEHA – Gazprom League, as he spent two seasons with PPD Zagreb, 2013/14 and 2014/15, also appearing at two SEHA Final 4 tournaments. In 34 appearances Coric scored 35 goals in his spell in the Croatian capital.
Metalurg's next match is scheduled for 22nd of February when they travel to Bucharest to play Steaua, and Coric will likely be available for that match.
