Jaganjac scores six in his farewell match with Metalurg

Tatran Metalurg

Metalurg have finally given their fans a reason to celebrate defeating favoured Tatran Presov 30:28 (15:11) in what was Halil Jaganjac’ final match with Metalurg before joining NEXE on a four-year long deal. Last season’s SEHA scoring champion netted six against Tatran, all of which in the second half.

Hosts delivered a perfect game overall and were able to stay in control throughout the full course of the match even having a seven-goal advantage (25:18) in the middle of the second. Macedonian vice-champions finally managed to prove everyone they have a roster full of young players who have the potential to achieve big things.

Tatran have already managed to beat Metalurg earlier this season but on Saturday evening there was simply nothing they could to in order to turn the result in their favour against highly-motivated hosts.

Ante Tokic netted nine for Metalurg while Tomas Cip scored eight for Tatran.
