Zeleznicar part ways with Pavle Banduka
Serbian vice-champions Zeleznicar Nis announced sixth departure of the season releasing a player they signed during the summer from Dinamo Pancevo – Pavle Banduka.
22-year old Banduka had his SEHA rookie season last year playing for Dinamo Pancevo but this season he didn’t really manage win the position battle with coach Veselin Vujovic in command in Nis so he will continue his career in Partizan Belgrade.
Ivan Smigic, Zeleznicar Nis director:
We honestly didn’t want to affect Banduka’s development by slowing it down here in Nis. He is a very good person but we feel like we have what we need on the right wing position with Nemanja Zivkovic and Aleksa Kljajic. It was a mutual agreement for us to part ways at this moment.
Banduka scored 34 goals last season for Dinamo, in 13 appearances. This season, he recorded 5 goals in 5 matches for Zeleznicar.
