If there is no chance to become a champion of the SEHA - Gazprom league, Metalurg nevertheless attracted the attention with the decision to set a lady for the president. The current general secretary Zorica Blazevska will continue with her work at the club in a new role.  She is the first woman president in the club and in the SEHA - Gazprom League, but also in Macedonia.

She will replace Zoran Cvetanovski who was in the club in the last few seasons. Blazevska will have a great responsibility in the period when the club is going through a rebuild and it will be necessary to confirm the ambitions.

Metalurg started the season with a new coach Danilo Brestovac and a changed team. There are many young players, and two weeks ago captain Filip Kuzmanovski decided to leave the club and move to Bitola.
