After seven full seasons and three clubs, Dainis Kristopans became the best ever goal-scorer of the SEHA – Gazprom League. The Latvian right back enjoyed a brilliant first match of the season, as his second goal meant that he moved to the sole first position on the all-time scoring list. Kristopans surpassed Radoslav Antl, his former teammate during his time in Tatran Presov, who scored 579 goals.

Kristopans is currently on 582 goals, as he scored 4 goals in Vardar's season opener against Metalurg. Vardar is his 3rd SEHA club, since the 215 cm tall Latvian also played in Slovakia for Tatran Presov and in Belarus for Meshkov Brest. His record with Tatran might be most impressive one, as he scored 375 goals in 69 matches. He moved to Meshkov, and continued his fantastic run- he scored 147 goals and had 98 assists in 40 matches played. With Vardar, Kristopans won his only SEHA trophy in his premiere season in Skopje. In total, Kristopans owns a very impressive record of 582 goals and 180 assists in 129 matches. He is on top of all of those lists, and certainly will be remembered as a SEHA legend, with a lot more in front of him!
