There were many young players in the game tonight. Both teams committed a lot of mistakes but in my opinion it was an overall quality game. I’m happy with the result, we delivered a solid performance and managed to beat them. I’d like to thank my players on a good match and hosts on a great organization.

Mario Bjelis, Izvidjac coach:

We opened the match badly with a lot of mistakes which was really bad and we can’t afford to do that now that we’re a part of SEHA League. Defense was good but after two injuries we lost focus and the result is this defeat in the end.

Maxim Baranau, Meshkov Brest player:

Good game all in all. Hosts were a solid opponent throughout the full course of the match and they refused to give up all the way until the final whistle.

Vedran Delic, Izvidjac player:

We committed way too many technical mistakes to beat a team like Meshkov tonight. Injuries didn’t help our case either but we must congratulate guests on a good performance and a win despite of everything.
