It did not take too long for Gorenje Velenje to sign a replacement for Rok Ovnicek who went for Celje PL. The black-yellow Slovenians added Andraz Kete to their roster, who will join the team from Maribor Branik.
Kete has signed a one-year contract, with an option to extend it for another year. He is a 188cm centre-back, who spent majority of his career playing in the Slovenian League. His last team was Maribor Branik, where Kete has played since 2016. The 26-year old has also played for Ajdovscina, where he started his career, Slovan and Urbanscape Loka. Last season with Maribor Branik, Kete has helped the team win the 2nd place in the Slovenian Cup, when they lost to Celje PL in the final. Gorenje Velenje continue to add interesting young pieces to their squad for next season!
