Vardar break SEHA - Gazprom League record becoming first team to reach 100 wins

Vardar

Vardar’s 30:21 win against NEXE did not only bring them three new points but also an additional honour as ‘Red&Black’ became the first team with 100 SEHA Gazprom League victories. Three-time champs that way managed to once again write their names in the history books achieving 100 wins in 132 matches throughout 7 season. On Tuesday in Nasice they only prolonged series of victories making it eight in a row this season and 14 in SEHA League overall. They are currently living through a 19-game long streak without a loss (8 in SEHA League, 9 in Champions League and one in Macedonian Super Cup).

In 132 SEHA - Gazprom League matches Macedonian giants scored 3963 goals which brings them to an average of 30 goals per game conceding almost 600 less - 3379. Last season was of course their best one so far (considering 10-team league) with 17 wins, two draws and only one defeat to go along with 661 scored goals.

We must add that Macedonian champs are one of four teams which have been a part of SEHA community from its very beginning back in season 2011/2012. They are also one of two teams to play on all previous F4 tournaments reaching finals five times going all the way three times which is yet another record they have in their trophy room.
